T197-1.jpg2 Late 18th Century Studies of Shells Watercolor and Pencil on Paper in the English School

These two pieces appear to be paper penciled and painted to represent each subject then cut out and pasted to a sheet of velum. This gives a sense of depth and realism. Matted with notes stating English School, late 18th Century.
We are basing our description on the information found on the piece. Please ask questions or inspect before bidding.  Our client worked with a fine framer in Atlanta and has many pieces that lend credibility to the description. Fine works no matter the time period.
