The Vintage Zuni Sterling Silver Petit Point Turquoise Squash Blossom has hand made sterling silver beads - 12 blossoms with 9 teardrop turquoise stones in each blossom and very small sterling blossoms - 16 round turquoise stones and 33 teardrop stone on naja.  The matching earring have 7 teardrop shaped stones.  The turquoise is from the Lone Mountain mine in Nevada. 

This set was appraised in 1977 for $1550.00 and the appraisal stated the piece is at least 40 years old at the time of appraisal SEE photo of appraisal
Current estimated value is $5,000 - $7,000

T74-1.jpgVintage Hopi Sterling Silver Howard Sice Concho Belt  

Hopi Howard Sice, an incredible silversmith artisan, was born in 1948 in Winslow, Arizona, of a Hopi mother and Laguna father. He was raised on the Laguna pueblo in the Village of Paraje. He spent many seasons with his aunts in Walapi, Kykosmovi, and Polacca villages on the Hopi reservation and his work displays strong influences from both cultures.
This one of a kind belt features five sterling silver conchos, each hand engraved in traditional Southwest and Pueblo imagery and set with a turquoise stone.  Each is stamped Sice Sterling on the reverse side and they are stung together with suede. The center conchos measures 3.25" x 5.25" and has two  1.75" x 2.5" conchas  on either side.   One of the the suede stands is broken and can easily be restrung in the color suede of your choice (black suede would look amazing).

They are gorgeous mottled grays, browns and black with a turquoise blue line running through each one. The large 1.75" x 1.4" turquoise stone set in the center is a vibrant blue with brown veining. The necklace is stamped by the maker RAY (SEE photos) and measures approx. 23" L   
The natural stone earrings are a beautiful mottled brown and black with blue specks.  Stamped E.C. and Sterling on the back and  measure approx. 1/2" x 3/4".

Creative Navaho artist Ray Tracey Artist  has had a life-long love of jewelry and comes from a long line silversmith . He grew up in Arizona and begin making silver jewelry at age 9.  In college he found another outlet for his creativity and became and actor starring in feature films and television.  His love of jewelry has now taken him back to New Mexico and where is makes jewelry fulltime.
The drum shaped 4.25" x 2.25" pendant and earrings are inlay with Coral, Lapis, Onyx, Turquoise and Amethyst with coral and turquoise beads above the dangling feathers.  They are signed with his hallmark Tracey and a feather below it.
